Along with the standard Mi Note
variant, Xiaomi will sell a Pro version of the device that offers some
serious hardware, including a 5.7-inch 2K display (2560 x 1440) with a
pixel density of 515 PPI, octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 810 SoC, LTE
Category 9 connectivity (with download speeds of 450Mbps) and more.
Xiaomi calls the Mi Note Pro "literally the best smartphone in the world
to date."
The device also features 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM, 64 GB eMMC 5.0 internal
storage and Adreno 430 GPU. Other hardware is similar to that of the Mi
Note, which sees a 13 MP camera with OIS as well as a front 4 MP
shooter. The Mi Note Pro will retail later this month for RMB 3,299
($530). The software side of things features Xiaomi's MIUI 6, which is
based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
